These were an absolute must have when I went to the beach. I did not want to wear the prosthetic on the sand, and have to deal with removing it, and trying to swim, etc. With these, I took my folding crutches in a bag on travel, and on beach days easily just used my crutches to get out there. Worked exactly as you would want. They were difficult to get back off the crutches even with completely loosening the coupling unit.
