I love these tips as they provide a better level of safety than the standard ones. I’ve been using forearm crutches for many years due to spinal injury. Now I’ve become an amputee and need even better tips for a reasonable sense of safety. Apparently, amputees fall fairly often at the outset. This has improved quite a bit as I’ve gotten used to a new balance point. However, there are things I can’t compensate for... wet tile or wet crutch tips from the rain among them. Since was brought rather forcefully back to my attention last night at the supermarket less than 10 steps after the rug to help dry people’s shoes, I thought of a possible solution that would greatly improve my chances of staying upright. Can we PLEASE have a line of crutch tips with a Vibram sole?!? That particular product made a huge difference on my shoes, but with only 1.5 legs I no longer have a way to catch myself with when a crutch tip slides.
